Martial Arts: Principles and Applications

This class teaches a range of martial arts principles and has a heavy focus on realistic, self defence situations.

The class covers essential principles of body mechanics, opening and closing, hard and soft principles, striking, ground fighting, locks, holds, escapes, restraint techniques, takedowns, fighting a standing opponent from a prone position, impact work (striking pads) and non-competition orientated sparring, to name a few.

Due to the nature of training, there is a casual, informal interview for any applicants who are interested in joining this class.
